In 2022 London Metropolitan Orchestra recorded the music for an American historical action film starring Will Smith as an enslaved man in Louisiana in the 1860s who escapes his plantation. The film was produced by Apple Studios and directed by Antoine Fuqua.

Marcelo Zarvos scored the music for a 76 piece orchestra, including 50 strings, flutes, clarinet, horns, trumpets, trombones, and tubas, as well as percussion and harp. The London Voices with a mixture of gospel and classical singers also contributed to the soundtrack. The music was recorded over the duration of 9 days at the Abbey Road Studio 1 and Tech Park Studio in Bognor Regis. Randy Miller orchestrated the music and conducted LMO, led by David Juritz. Steve McLaughlin engineered and produced the recordings.

The film was premiered in theaters on the December 2, 2022 and started streaming on Apple TV+ on December 9, 2022.
