In 2017 London Metropolitan Orchestra recorded Atli Örvarsson’s score for The Hitman’s Bodyguard.
Ryan Reynolds, Salma Hayek and Gary Oldman star in the story of the World’s leading bodyguard who is hired by a hitman who must give testimony imminently, at the International Court of Justice.
Atli Örvarsson scored for a 34 piece string section and also conducted the
sessions, with Janice Graham leading LMO.
Julian Kershaw was the orchestrator and the sessions took place at Abbey Road Studio 1. The sessions were produced by Atli Orvarsson and Steve McLaughlin.
The Hitman’s Bodyguard’s screenplay was written by Tom O’Connor and the film is directed by Patrick Hughes.
The Production Company is Millennium Films and The Hitman’s Bodyguard was released in August 2017.
