In 2016 London Metropolitan Orchestra recorded Natalie Holt’s score for TV Mini-series Kat and Alfie: Redwater. The mystery drama tells a story of a married couple Kat and Alfie Moon, who relocate from the London-based Walford to the remote Irish seaside town of Redwater in a quest to find Luke, Kat’s long-lost son, who was given up for adoption to a foster family 32 years ago.
The music was scored for 13 piece string section and a solo piano recorded by Sally Heath. The orchestra was lead by Tom Gould and conducted by LMO music director Andy Brown. The sessions took place in Abbey Road Studio 2.
Redwater was produced by BBC Grafton House Productions and Element Pictures, and was broadcaster on RTÉ One and BBC One.
