In 2016 London Metropolitan Orchestra recorded Natalie Holt’s score for TV Mini-series My Mother and Other Strangers.

The story is set in 1943 and is about the Coyne family and their neighbours, who struggle to maintain a normal life after a US Army Air Force base is set up in the middle of their rural parish.

The score was composer for 15 piece string section with harp and piano. The orchestra was lead by Rita Manning and Tom Gould and was conducted by LMO music director Andy Brown. The sessions took place in Abbey Road Studio 2.

The series was made by BBC Northern Ireland and in 2017 it was nominated by IFTA Award for Best Script – Drama.
